Richard Falle uses Adobe Illustrator to produce two and three dimensional vector graphics meaning his work is infinitely scalable.
Falle's work has a hyper-real, absurd quality, making it hard to tell if the objects on display have been created by man or machine.
With a blog named No More Ice Cream you can imagine my glee at seeing the opening image in the slideshow above. I was originally struck by the clean lines and colours thinking it was a photograph that had been digitally manipulated, but was shocked to discover that the image had been made through Adobe Illustrator.
As someone familiar with building logos and graphics with Adobe Illustrator the technical skills needed to create any of these works is almost unimaginable. The fact it is a vector graphic means it could be any size, I am sorely tempted to grab the file and make a huge wall print for NMIC HQ (but I think my landlord might disagree).
